38 GBA teams descended on Griffin GA for a full weekend of BBQ – the 2024 Doc Holliday BBQ Championship, the 2024 Georgia State Brisket Championship, and 2024 GBA State Championship. This is truly a one-of-a-kind event – it’s the only one where you can see recreations of the famous Shootout at the OK Corral – and has some of the most sought after trophies on the GBA circuit. I’m Your Huckleberry BBQ walked last for their first ever GBA Grand Championship, which also crowned them as the 2024 GBA Georgia State Champion.
Grills Gone Wild won the Reserve Grand Championship with an amazing cook, taking a 1st Place Loin, 7th Place Pork, & 7th Place Rib call.
