Back To Back Jack! Captain Jack Wins Again at Fire Ant Festival
Ashburn, GA — Captain Jack’s Freedom BBQ Team, Jack & Sandy Fallin, captured the Grand Championship for the second year in a row at the Fire Ant Festival. The Grand Champion’s final round rib entry edged out Robby Royal of Rescue Smokers’ loin entry by 0.3 of a point to win the top award. Rescue Smokers compiled the highest cumulative score thru the three preliminary rounds to take the Reserve Grand Championship.
In the preliminary Pulled Pork round, both Captain Jack’s Freedom BBQ Team & Rescue Smoker tallied a perfect 600 score.
