Team of the Year Banquet

The Georgia Barbecue Association (GBA) will hold its first ever Team of the Year Banquet on August 16, 2014 at the Canongate-Healy Point Country Club in Macon. The event will begin at 6:00 pm with an Icebreaker Reception.  The banquet will be served at 7:00 pm with the Team of the Year awards ceremonies to follow. Following the meal and awards, a DJ will play music for dancing until 11:00 pm.

All GBA members, cooks, judges and contest organizers, are invited to attend.  There will be drawings for door prizes including two Jr Stumpster smokers.

The GBA will recognize the Top 20 teams in the Team of the Years points standings. Teams 11 thru 20 will receive a T0p 20 Team of the Year banner.  Teams 2 thru 10 will recieve a cash award and a Top 10 Team of the Year banner. The Team of the Year will receive a cash award, a large 2013-2014 Team of the Year banner and a Stumps XL Baby Smoker.
